Artgal.Online actively promotes contemporary African art through international exhibitions, museum collaborations, art fairs, educational programmes, cultural exchanges, and community initiatives. Our Events Archive highlights a selection of significant exhibitions and projects that have contributed to the growing international visibility of our artists and the broader appreciation of Zimbabwean art.
Over the years, Artgal.Online artists have participated in exhibitions and events across Africa, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the United States. These presentations have ranged from major international art fairs and museum exhibitions to educational workshops, artist talks, school programmes, cultural initiatives, and community outreach projects.
Featured events include exhibitions at Art International Zurich, the Hamptons Fine Art Fair in New York, the Southampton African American Museum (SAAM) in New York, international exhibitions in Dubai, Berlin, Mumbai, and China, as well as numerous cultural and educational initiatives throughout Zimbabwe. These events have provided opportunities for artists and audiences to connect through themes of identity, culture, wildlife, spirituality, heritage, social awareness, and contemporary African life.
Many events featured in this archive include photographs, videos, interviews, exhibition walkthroughs, and additional documentation, allowing visitors to experience moments that extend beyond the artworks themselves. Others are preserved as milestones within the continuing journey of our artists and the development of Artgal.Online.
The archive also reflects our commitment to education and community engagement through school workshops, mentorship programmes, cultural collaborations, and social initiatives that use art as a tool for learning, empowerment, and dialogue.
As Artgal.Online continues to expand internationally, new exhibitions and events are added regularly. Together, they document the evolving story of our artists and their growing contribution to contemporary African art, Zimbabwean culture, and global creative exchange.
We invite you to explore these events, discover the stories behind the exhibitions, and follow the ongoing journey of African art across borders and generations.
