This month's Spotlight Goho - Harvest Artist Keith Zenda

ZBC Covers Hon P S Mr Nicholas Moyo's Visit to Artgal Zim Center in Domboshava on 23 June 2026
On 23 June 2026, Artgal Zim Center in Domboshava had the honour of welcoming Mr Moyo, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture and a large delegation for a special visit focused on Zimbabwean contemporary art and cultural engagement.
The visit, filmed by ZBC Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation, reflects the importance of art as a space for dialogue, visibility, and international cultural connection.

Florah's bio
Florah Maphosa is an emerging Zimbabwean pop artist whose vibrant works celebrate identity, culture, and contemporary African expression. Originally from Gweru and currently an artist-in-residence at ArtGal Zim Center in Domboshava, she develops her distinctive visual language under the mentorship of Keith Zenda. Through bold colours, stylised portraits, and expressive compositions, Florah captures the energy of everyday Zimbabwean life while giving voice to a new generation of confident and creative female artists.

Whispers of Bloom

In Whispers of Bloom, Florah Maphosa transforms the human face into a garden of renewal, where blossoms, vines, bees, and butterflies symbolize the connection between nature and spirit. The striking blue eyes convey both vulnerability and strength, celebrating African femininity, resilience, and beauty in full bloom.
